Mollie Berner here, checking in for my first blog post as a full-time staff member!
For those of you who missed them, the PCAA
kicked off with its first few events of the season.
On May 7, DC-area CBB/Perlman Camp alumni gathered at the home of Rhoda Barish and Michael Polis. Approximately twenty-five alumni who attended camp back in the 1960’s to the present had a wonderful time reminiscing, sharing stories, and reconnecting with old friends, some of whom hadn’t seen each other in dozens of years. A handful brought old photo albums to share with the group, as well! All there agreed that there’s a special bond shared from the days spent tucked away below Mt. Baldy. The DC-area CBB/Perlman Camp alumni in attendance look forward to future alumni events and celebrating with more and more folks!

On May 11, New York-area CBB/Perlman Camp alumni gathered at Turnmill in New York City to also celebrate the launch. Approximately twenty alumni who attended camp back in the 1990’s and early 2000’s got together to share old jokes and stories as campers and counselors; several attendees had shared bunks back as first and second year campers. The group looks forward to attending this year’s Alumni Weekend and hope to see many return to camp mid-August to join them!
