SUMMER STAFF

To apply for a summer position at Perlman Camp, please complete our staff application.

If you enjoy being outdoors, are great with kids and love to have fun, then Perlman Camp may be the perfect place for you to spend your summer! We offer the opportunity to live, work and play in the sunshine, make new friends from all over the world, experience the adventures of summer camp, make a difference in a child’s life and earn more money than you think (with fewer expenses)!

Camp jobs offer college students skill building, leadership training and enrichment opportunities that just can’t be found at the mall or in a stuffy office building. Regardless of your educational background, the camp experience allows you to learn, develop and practice skills that will enhance your job marketability. The benefits go far beyond a paycheck. College credit can sometimes be obtained from working at camp. Check with your advisor to see if you qualify.

No matter where you’re from or what your ability level, if you enjoy children and the outdoors, there may be a camp job waiting for you!

General Counselors have maximum interaction with campers, leading them through daily activities, guiding their growth and development and serving as positive role models (and sometimes even heroes!).

Specialists teach specific skills such as arts & crafts, archery, dance, swimming, tennis, basketball, soccer, music, computers, drama, rock climbing, waterfront, nature and more!

Support Staff are essential in the day-to-day operation of camp and include food services, health center (registered nurses, doctors, social workers, EMT’s), buildings and grounds, CDL drivers, canteen, security and office staff.

Leadership Staff are responsible for the supervision of campers and counselors in a designated unit or specific activity area. We are looking for qualified staff to join our leadership team as Head Counselors, Unit Leaders, Department Directors, Activity Specialists and other key staff.
